Application of a ferrite sheet separator
Sheet separators, constructed with ferrite magnets, are permanently magnetic and suitable for sheets from <1 to 4 mm thick and a stacking height of 45 to 490 mm. The magnetic field automatically forces the sheets apart and separates them one by one from the stack below. Even when they are stuck together due to oil. When the upper sheet is removed, the next one rises immediately.
Ferrite sheet separators have a steel housing, are affordable, corrosion resistant and also perform at high temperatures. Ferrite sheet separators are easy and quick to assemble and they do not require an energy supply. You can easily place them on a pallet or welding table and thus easily separate your sheet metal.

Working principle
Permanent magnetic sheet separators are available in various sizes. Depending on the size, longer or shorter magnets are incorporated. Due to the fact that the sheet metal is temporarily magnetically charged, the sheets repel each other. Since the strength of the magnet is the same over the entire length, this always happens with the same force. This way, permanent sheet separators do their work very predictably.
Ferrite sheet separators are a cost-effective solution for steel sheets that do not adhere strongly to each other. These separating magnets are particularly suitable for dry and thin sheets that come apart quite easily.
